Following on from the COMMON GROUND project, CONTACT INC re-engaged with young people from Brisbane's southside to create a series of performance pieces at WORLD REFUGEE DAY 08 at Annerley Soccer Grounds.
The 10 week workshop series focussed on the theme of "Acknowledging the past and embracing the future". Workshops in KRUMPING, RAPPING, BREAKDANCING, SINGING & SONGWRITING and HIP HOP dance were facilitiated to create a deadly performance on the main stage.
